Teaching
Our commitment to society and to our patients drives and obliges us to make training an essential pillar of our activity and culture.
This vocation of service takes shape in the training for interns, nursing and health professionals, as well as post-graduate programmes and the lifelong training of all professionals at Onkologikoa.
Learning is one of the pillars of Onkologikoa
We divide our training into four areas: training of medical interns, of professionals taking their post-graduate master's, internships and the training of our health workers.
Resident medical interns
Today interns are trained at our Centro 8 M.I.R. in the specialities of radiation oncology, medical oncology and nuclear oncology.
Professionals in post-graduate master's and other specialities
Professionals in the Master's in Senology and Breast Pathology at the University of Barcelona. We also have professionals in other specialities such as pharmacy and radiophysics.
Training practices
At our centre, by way of support to training centres with healthcare specialities, we host a series of training options, such as: nursing, clinical assistants, radiology technicians, anatomic pathology, biotechnology, documentation and archives, etc.
Lifelong training
In order to keep our professionals permanently up to date, and by means of attending courses physically, online or a combination of both, the centre has a wide multidisciplinary catalogue placing emphasis on different areas.
